Welcome, and thank you for visiting Shaolin
Kung Fu of Amherst. Shaolin Kung Fu of
Amherst offers high quality martial arts training
to adults, teens, and children ages 4+. Our
school is part of Warriors Fusion (formerly
known as the National Association of Chinese
Martial Arts), created by our master, Shifu
Lisandro Vega (AKA "Shifu Li").
Along with our sister school in Springfield, we
are the only two schools in Western
Massachusetts that offer authentic Shaolin
Kung Fu. Shaolin Kung Fu comes from China
and is one of the oldest and most respected
martial arts. Our curriculum derives from
traditional Shaolin Kung Fu, Long Fist (Chan
Chuan), and Eagle Claw (Ying Zhao Quan). Our
comprehensive training program includes
basic stances, effective hand strikes and kicks,
hand forms, weapons, and self defense.
Our students come from all walks of life, and
train in kung fu for many different reasons –
physical fitness, self defense, increased
flexibility, inner peace and self discipline.
