Congratulations to the new Black Sashes and
Brown Sashes on
passing their rank test!

On November 15, 2009, Ras Smallidge, Phil Myers and
Jessica Grasmere were promoted to black sash level.  BJ
Richardson was promoted to brown stripe, and Ryan Budny,
Rachel Meyers, and Kyle Cross were promoted to Brown
Sash.  The testing process took place over a four week
period, and the results are the culmination of many years of
training!    

Special thanks to Shifu Lisandro Vega, Shifu Kevin Ritter, and
Sigung (Grandmaster) Leung Li Fu, and to the students and
family members who offered their support and camaraderie.
Shaolin By the Sea 2010 was a big success!  
12 students from Shaolin Kung Fu of Amherst attended.
